The S/S 2012 Tokyo Fashion Week is back and bigger than ever, under the management of IMG and with mega sponsors like Maybelline, DSL, and ShopStyle!
In its third day, of what will be over 40 runway presentations, Tokyo Fashion Week is at the top of our list for must watch events this week and of course there is an app for that. “Tokyo Fashion”, the official app of TokyoFashion.com is available for the iPhone and Android.
The app features up-to-the-minute Tokyo fashion news, in English, including complete coverage of Tokyo Fashion Week with looks straight from the runway, as well as, daily street style photos for inspiration. As an added bonus we love that you can search the street style photos by your favorite brand. Want to get in on even more of the action?

What’s Your Street Style Look?
Lion’esque Tech Style Report by @RunwaySavvy
Two trends that I am loving for fall are plaid and sequins and what I’m loving even more is combining these very opposing styles. Take a look and you may not believe how naturally they come together. Elle UK styled a sequin tee with a plaid pleated skirt and Yigal Azrouel showed a plaid coat with a sequin tuxedo top on the runway.
The plaid and sequin options are plentiful this season and there doesn’t seem to be a bad way to bring them together. For day a luxurious plaid oversized sweater and sequin legging make this high fashion look seem super approachable.
For evening try an ultra glamorous long sequin dress with a tartan cropped jacket. This particular combination feels like a refreshed take on the pairing of evening dresses with leather jackets that we have seen in seasons past.
And finally if you can’t wait until the weather cools to get these two looks to connect, pair a sequin tank top with a casual plaid cotton pant. These two may have been no where near each other in your closet before but they will be inseparable from here on out.

I “spot” a Fall trend, the two-tone polka dot.
How could you not, this slightly bold yet girly look was all over the runways for Fall 2011.These three outfits are from the Bensoni, Marc Jacobs, and Stella McCartney lines.
It has even spilled over into home design, I almost bought a polka dot tea pot yesterday!
Although Minnie Mouse was the first to wear it loud and proud, work it with a bright solid color accessory and you will be a show stopper.
How will YOU rock the polka dot?
